ETEC 4003 - Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning
Prerequisites: ETEC 3003 or ENGR 3003 and ETEC 3013 or ENGR 3023 .
This is a fundamental course in the area of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Energy requirements of a building, indoor air quality, estimating cooling loads, the roles of the psychometric chart in human comfort, air flow through dusts and air distribution, etc will be covered in this course. Students will be introduced with the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning (AHSRAE) standards. Spring.
