History/Political Science: Social Studies Education, BA Degree Plan
The BA in History/Political Science: Social Studies Education is a licensure pathway for future teachers grounded in the knowledge, skills, and dispositions of teachers in 21st-century school as their roles change to fit the needs of students and society.
To obtain a BA in History/Political Science: Social Studies Education, the candidate must earn at least a grade point average of 3.00 on all University credits (120 hours). Candidates must also complete the required curriculum with a C or higher in all major and EPP coursework, be admitted to the Educator Preparation Program unconditionally, and complete the History Content Knowledge Praxis and required pedagogy assessment.
