THEA 3763 - Script Analysis This course in dramatic literature will chronologically and thematically introduce students to a wide variety of plays. Students will read and discuss plays as literature intended for theatrical performance, often dealing with the translation of the written page onto the stage. The plays will be examined from the angles of theatre movements, history, cultural context, structure, genre, and form as various viewpoints from which playwrights write and scholars criticize and interpret. Fall.
