POSC 4142 - Advanced Commercial Poultry Production
Prerequisites: POSC 4132 and POSC 4131 .
Corequisites: POSC 4141 .
This course is intended to provide students with real world knowledge and experience regarding commercial poultry production systems, especially broiler chickens and broiler breeders. Students will learn how to manage their own broiler and breeder flocks and how to collect/analyze data. Current procedures and challenges found in the modern commercial poultry industry will be examined. Lecture two hours. Spring.
