PLSC 3042 - Advanced Soils Science

Prerequisites: PLSC 2012  and PLSC 2011 .
Corequisites: PLSC 3041 . 
A study of the chemical, biological, and physical properties of the soil as they influence the uptake and utilization of essential nutrients of plants. A look at the microorganisms and their biochemical processes in the soil. Lecture two hours. Fall, alternate years.
