MUED 3202 - Media Applications Orchestration and Arranging
Designed to acquaint student with the rudiments of writing for vocal and instrumental ensembles, including band and orchestra. Theoretical knowledge of instruments such as pitch ranges, proper notation, and idiomatic characteristics are studied. MIDI technology is used in the learning and application of orchestration and arranging techniques. Spring, alternate years.
