MM 3133 - Media and Politics This course analyzes the decline of traditional media outlets, and the development of new media including networks, cable outlets, chatrooms, blogs, talk radio, websites. Discussions include how the media reports politics, how people get political information, and how politicians, political parties, and political organizations use the media to communicate, fundraise, and attempt to influence public opinion. The course will look at American and international politics and media outlets. Fall, even years.
