MATH 1045 - Pre-Calculus Mathematics Prerequisites: ACT math subscore of 24 or higher or departmental approval. A study of quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions, their graphs and inverses as well as systems of equations and inequalities, determinants, matrices, sequences and series, conic sections, angles, identities, trigonometric operation formulae, laws of sines and cosines, trigonometric form of complex numbers, vectors, DeMoivre’s Theorem, and nth roots of complex numbers. Fall.
