HPSS 3882 - Theory and Techniques of Rhythm Activities
Techniques, theories, and foundations of rhythm activities as media of self-expression in the development of the individual. Emphasis will be placed on the creative process and history of dance as a recreational form and instrument of cultural expression. Course elements include planning and organization of rhythm activities and materials in school kinesiology and sport science, as well as laboratory problems in folk, social, and contemporary dance. Spring.
