DSCI 4013 - Data Mining and Visualization Prerequisites: CSCI 3103 . This course covers the practical fundamentals and emerging paradigms of data mining and visualization with theory and practice to aid intuition building, introduce theories, concepts, contexts, and algorithms. Students will be able to independently analyze data, find patterns in them, and gain an ability to design, implement, and evaluation data mining software. They will learn how to create and transform data into visual representations, including interactive graphics, charts, and dashboards to support organizations in the decision-making process. This allows students to convert data into actionable business insights using visualization tools such as Tableau, and/or Power BI. Fall.
