CHEM 3003 - Organic Chemistry I

Prerequisites: Grade of C or higher in CHEM 1123  and CHEM 1121 , or instructor permission.
Corequisites: CHEM 3001 .
Classification, nomenclature, properties, structure, spectroscopy, and reactions of synthesis of compounds of carbon. Should be taken by chemistry majors in their sophomore year. Laboratory three hours. Lecture three hours. Fall.
