MCIS 6233 - Traceable Systems and Computer Forensics Prerequisites: Admission to the School of Graduate Studies or departmental permission. This course will introduce the topics of computer compromises and forensics discovery. Students will learn different aspects of computer crime and ways in which to uncover, protect and exploit digital
evidence. Students will explore different types of data forensic tools, both software and hardware, and use them to perform rudimentary incident analysis and investigation. Course appropriateness will be determined case by case during advising Spring.
