The curriculum for the Associate of Science degree is designed for students whose goal is to seemingly transition to a baccalaureate degree program in nursing, public health, Biology pre-health, or another science-related program. The associate of science is designed to incorporate general education requirements and discipline specific health science courses leading up to the completion of a four-year degree in health related disciplines. The two-year degree integrates knowledge from behavioral and biological sciences as a basis for allied health practice to enable students to demonstrate competencies relevant to a career focus area within health sciences.

AS Degree recipients may pursue four-year degrees in public health, biology pre-health, or nursing.
