MAED 4373 - Assessment-Driven Math Instruction
Prerequisites: Conditional or unconditional admission to the Educator Preparation Program.
This course focuses on critical issues of mathematics acquisition, assessment, and instruction. Attention will be given to understanding the interrelatedness of mathematics and other content areas, creating effective learning environments, planning and implementing lesson plans to meet the differentiated needs of a wide variety of learners, and assessing student learning in mathematics. This course will require candidates to learn and practice strategies and techniques through authentic and interactive field experiences.
