MATH 4053 - Higher-Order Thinking in Mathematics
This course will provide pre-service middle school and secondary teachers in grades five through college with examples of lessons incorporating methods appropriate for students with different learning styles. These lessons will emphasize the use of manipulatives, hands-on materials, cooperative learning techniques, and technology. Topics include number sense and number theory, functions, probability and statistics, geometry, and measurement. Spring, odd years.
