E ED 4173 - Teaching Literacy I
Prerequisites: Conditional or unconditional admission to the Educator Preparation Program.
An introduction to teaching reading in the elementary classroom. There will be an emphasis on the science of reading and the development, assessment, and instruction of individual and small groups of students. This course will require candidates to learn and practice strategies and techniques through authentic and interactive field experiences.
