The curriculum for the Associate of Science degree in health sciences is designed for students whose goal is to seamlessly transition to a baccalaureate degree program in nursing, public health, biology pre-health, or another health-related program. The associate of science is designed to incorporate general education requirements and discipline specific health science courses leading up to the completion of a four-year degree in health related disciplines. The two-year degree integrates knowledge from behavioral and biological sciences as a basis for allied health practice to enable students to demonstrate competencies relevant to a career focus area within health sciences.

General Education (24 hours) Note: 11 hours of mathematics, natural science, and physical science requirements are included in the major. Biological Sciences (19 hours)
