Mathematics, Data Science Option, BS PACT 8 Degree Plan
The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics: Data Science Option covers knowledge on how to apply analytic techniques and algorithms (including statistical and data mining approaches) to large data sets to find trends and extract meaningful insights.
Goal: Our graduates will be able to apply computational, mathematical, and statistical thinking to data-rich problems in a wide variety of fields to gain deeper insight in a responsible and ethical manner.
