MCIS 6333 - Data Visualization Programming This course equips students with theoretical knowledge of and hands-on skills development in the computational and programmatic processes involved in the creation of data visualizations from scratch. The Python and R programming languages are used to create the data processing steps and computations necessary for the subsequent Python and R programming of the creation of various types of data visualizations for a variety of datasets. The students also develop their critical thinking, writing, and communication skills via a data visualization programming team course project.
