COUN 6473 - Psychosocial and Multicultural Aspects of Counseling An examination of the social and psychological elements of human behavior, emphasizing the significance of recognizing and valuing each individual’s experiences and perspectives. This course explores how understanding and respect contribute to effective counseling in various settings, including schools, colleges and universities, and community agencies. Participants will engage in self-exploration to develop a deeper awareness of themselves and their interactions with others, thereby strengthening their ability to support and connect with people in meaningful ways. Fall, spring, summer.
