Prerequisites: PH 2003 .
Overview of the impact of the social and behavioral sciences on health behavior issues. Key topics include examination of factors such as culture, race/ethnicity, gender, and socioeconomic status as they apply to family, community, organizational climate, etc., as well as social and behavioral science fundamentals employed to address past, present, and future public health concerns.
