MAT 5173 - Teaching Literacy I

Prerequisites: Admission to Graduate Studies or departmental permission.
An introduction to teaching reading in the elementary classroom. There will be an emphasis on the science of reading and the development, assessment, and instruction of individual and small groups of students. Requires 25 hours of field experience. As needed.
