Prerequisites: CHEM 2012 , CHEM 2001 , CHEM 3103 , and CHEM 4403 .
Application of chemical principles and techniques to specific environmental problems, and the chemical interrelationships among these problems. Topics include the chemistry of fossil fuels, new energy courses, energy storage concepts, air pollution, mineral resources, solid waste, water and waste water treatment, pesticides and toxic materials.
