EDUC 5033 - Classroom Assessment
This course shows in-service teachers how to use classroom testing accurately and formatively to increase their teaching effectiveness and make a difference in how well students learn. Teachers will learn clear and concise guidelines on how to develop quality classroom assessments. Particular attention is paid to the implications of testing on teaching and the increasing importance of educational assessment in an era of state standards and teacher evaluations based on students’ tests scores.
